Elias is a partner in the firm’s corporate and commercial practice. He obtained his law degree from the School of Law of the Democritus University of Thrace and holds an LL.M. in Maritime and International Trade Law from King’s College London. He was admitted to the Athens Bar in 1997. From 1999 until May 2026, Elias was with an Athens- and Piraeus-based law firm, initially as an associate and, as of 2011, as a partner.

His practice focuses primarily on corporate and commercial law, with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, asset and project finance, real estate and regulatory compliance. He regularly advises clients on the structuring, negotiation and implementation of complex transactions and investment projects involving commercial partnerships, cross-border ventures, privatizations, public tenders, vertical cooperation arrangements and distribution networks. He also advises on international trade, consumer protection, data privacy, and whistleblowing matters. His real estate practice covers construction projects, acquisitions, commercial leasing, and international investment structures.

Over the years, Elias has represented both domestic and international investors and developers in a broad range of complex investment projects in Greece. In parallel, he supports entrepreneurial ventures and multinational groups in relation to their day-to-day corporate and operational matters, organizational and regulatory requirements, and commercial operations, including consumer compliance matters. He has also been actively involved in the development of the Greek startup ecosystem, advising entrepreneurs on venture capital transactions and early-stage financing structures.

His experience includes representing an international fund in connection with its participation in the tender process for the acquisition of Astir Palace Vouliagmeni; assisting private equity funds in the acquisition, development and operation of the Praktiker stores portfolio in Greece; acting for a Portuguese developer and shopping center operator in several investment and development projects in Athens, Thessaloniki, Larissa, and Ioannina; advising an international investment group on various investment projects and strategic collaborations; acting in connection with the acquisition of the Greek subsidiary of a large multinational elevator and escalator company; and advising on a regular basis leading multinational retailers and companies in the services sector.

Elias regularly speaks at conferences and seminars on topics including the regulatory framework for investments in Greece, startup structuring and financing, entrepreneurship, personal data protection, and whistleblowing compliance.

He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Greece.
